Anyone interested in the upcoming PES 2022 can now get their first impressions. Konami today published a so-called “Online Performance Test”. You won’t find it under PES 2022, but under the name “New Football Game” in the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One store.
On the corresponding website for the beta the developers say that the demo serves to “evaluate the quality of online matchmaking and the connection to the servers”. At the same time, you can read the note that game mechanics, balancing, animations and graphics are still in development and will change and improve by the time the full version is officially launched.
The trial version includes the teams Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus Turin and FC Barcelona. Only online versus games are played. You don’t need a PS Plus or Xbox Live subscription. According to the current status, the trial version can be played until July 8th. The official announcement of Konami’s next soccer game is scheduled for July 21, 2021. However, details are not yet given.
