Another video game receives a film adaptation: Phasmophobia is approached by a well-known studio.

In a press release, Kinetic Games officially confirmed that the in-house Phasmophobia will also receive a film adaptation. It is the next video game that makes it onto the canvas or in film form on the TV sets.

The strip is therefore produced by the well -known studio Blumhouse, which has plenty of experience with such projects and implementations. In addition to horror films such as “M3Gan” and “The Black Phone”, that studio already implemented “Five Nights at Freddy's” – and the latter is also known in the video game area.

Phasmophobia became a hit in his time and in the meantime reached more than 23 million copies sold since 2020. When the horror game will now be published in film form is still unclear – a release is most likely to be removed for several years. Nevertheless, according to Director and Lead Developer Daniel Knight “a big moment for the whole Kinetic team” and at the same time “the prelude to something really exciting”.

In addition to Blumhouse, the Studio Atomic Monster is also involved, which can also be considered “big players” in the area of horror films. Among other things, this studio has co -produced “Annabelle”, “The now” and “The Conjuring”.
