Microsoft keeps repeating who wants to hear that Halo Infinite will be released on Xbox and PC consoles for the end of the year celebrations. Weeks go by and despite the broadcast of its conference “E3 2021” a few days ago, the American glove has still not given the reasons for the failure to announce an exact release date. To believe Phil Spencer, the reason for this situation is very simple.

And instead of fooling around or messing around the bush, The video game manager at Microsoft said that his company has not yet announced a specific release date as it waits to see where another game will be put on the schedule :
We will have an idea (of the release date) within three to four weeks. We don’t have an exact date yet as we are trying to see other things related to the timing (release) of another game.
For us the situation will be clearer this summer, but it’s not a matter of months. Things will play out between a handful of weeks. And instead of picking a date and then being forced to move it back a week, which would seem like a failure at that point, let’s wait and see just to be really sure what the release date will be (from Halo Infinite ).
Who is the dreaded rival?
For those concerned about the new Master Chief adventures not coming this year, Phil Spencer insists that they keep their focus on releasing Halo Infinite for the holiday season and that the team is confident.
And as for the game, with which Microsoft does not want to enter into a direct confrontation, Phil Spencer logically does not reveal his title. According to rumors, however, it is this year’s Call of Duty, already called Call of Duty Vanguard by many players and unofficially expected for next November.
As a reminder, Halo Infinite is currently in development for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.
