Planet Zoo launches on consoles in March

Frontier Developments announced today Planet Zoo: Console Edition It will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S next month.

The game launches on March 26 and is available for pre-order now, giving you access to three exclusive animals: the pygmy hippopotamus, the Komodo dragon, and the Thomson’s gazelle.

The console version of the creative man agement sim includes over four years of free updates to the features, content, and animals of the PC game.

Planet Zoo gives you the opportunity to nurture and learn about a range of species as they think, feel and explore the habitats you build, customize and manage for them.

It features career, franchise, challenge and sandbox game modes, and management lets you focus on both the bigger and smaller details to ensure animals, staff and guests stay happy in a world where animal welfare and conservation are prioritized.

You can also join a connected community with cross-platform console sharing through Frontier Workshop, where you can download and share habitats, landscapes, and entire zoos.

The deluxe edition is available to pre-order for £49.99 / $59.99 / $59.99 and comes with 16 additional animals and two additional scenes featuring the rainforests and wetlands of Southeast Asia. You can also pre-order the Ultimate Edition, which includes all the content in the Deluxe Edition, as well as the Season Pass, which gives access to 14 future console DLC packs, for £99.99/$119.99/$119.99.
