An unexpected crossover: The Hobbit is now roaming the wild west in Red Dead Online. A player has modified his character so that he striking resemblance to Bilbo Baggins from the Lord of the Rings or Middle-earth universe.
Barefoot and armed with stitch 2.0 (apparently even halflings go with the times and switch to firearms), he rides through the game world. »ConnorBuris« presented his project on Reddit:
Transformed my character into Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit, let me know what you think! from r / reddeadredemption
This is how it works with the hobbit look
In his post, the Reddit user explains how he managed the bilbo look. Amazingly, there seem to be few Lord of the Rings projects for Red Dead 2, which is why it took him a long time to find suitable clothing. He is currently using for his Red Dead online bilbo:
- White French Dress Shirt
- Green Traditional Vest
- Red Classic Frock Coat
- Brown Worn Rolled Pants
- Brown Neckerchief
- Wild Chop in color variant 11 as a hairstyle
The look of Bilbo in the first film of the Hobbit trilogy served as his model. On a few details like hairy feet and pointed ears unfortunately he had to do without. Bilbo's face and body size also presented ConnorBuris with difficulties. He plans to buy a warhorse so that the size of his character looks even more appropriate.

The heartbreaking secret of the dogs in Red Dead Online
So Bilbo tries in Red Dead Online as with Smaug as a master thief. In Red Dead Redemption 2's multiplayer mode, there are no dragons to steal, but careless players do. In this video you can see how the Western Hobbit tried to steal someone's loot.
ConnorBuris is considering whether it will in the future recreate iconic scenes from the films should. Maybe he'll find thirteen players who want to embody his dwarf friends.
Red Dead Redemption 2 offers plenty of room for the creativity of its players. For example, they staged a deadly Wild West role-playing game in which two players compete against each other in showdowns. Players have also discovered that the world is perfect for a Bob Ross painting.
