On Monday, March 29th, 2021, after a long wait, CD Projekt released the huge patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077. The huge patch notes for the update contain hundreds of fixed bugs and game errors.
Our test of the huge update shows that the developers are far from the end of Patch 1.2 – numerous players are currently reporting a multitude of new problems, some of which are quite strange.
Sandstorms and other strange bugs
In the past few days, reports from cyberpunk fans who have come across new bugs since the big update have been increasing on Reddit. Fortunately, as the numerous videos show, these are not plot stoppers like broken quests, but rather errors from the cabinet of curiosities.
For example, one player shows problems with dynamic weather changes. With him, Patch 1.2 is said to have shot his save state so that Night City is now in one permanent sandstorm is trapped and how Mexico in American films looks like:

Another bug could be related to the revised vehicles in the new update. The player shows how a car slips through the streets of Night City in a completely unpredictable way:

We noticed the occasionally invisible weapons in the test for Cyberpunk Patch 1.2. The player in the following video seems to have even bigger problems, because he also has clipping errors, washed-out textures and opponents waving their arms wildly:

However, there is also reason to be happy among cyberpunk fans: V is finally sleeping like a normal person and no longer just falling into bed like a drunk teenager:

Don’t let the videos fool you: Although a few new bugs have been added, the advantages of Update 1.2 clearly outweigh them, as you can read in our update test.
