New games are regularly added to Sony’s PlayStation Plus gaming subscription, but you also have to say goodbye to games that are no longer available. This August, five more titles will be affected.
Anyone who has subscribed to PlayStation Plus Extra and/or Premium will not only receive new games as part of their subscription from Sony every month. There are also regular departures, meaning that titles that were previously included will no longer be playable as part of the games subscription. This will happen again next month, August.
Before Sony announces the new additions for the coming month, we’ll first look at these five departures. According to them, you will only be able to play the following five games until mid-August 2024:
- Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed (PS4, PS5)
- NBA 2K24 (PS4, PS5)
- Need for Speed: Unbound (PS5)
- SpellForce 3: Reforged (PS4, PS5)
- Trials of Mana (PS4)
These five titles can be played as part of the subscription until August 20th, before they are no longer available via PS Plus Extra and Premium. In return, the next new additions to the subscription await you on this day, which are usually announced a week in advance in August.
The whole thing went similarly in July. Last week, the new additions to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium were announced, which are now officially available as of today, July 16th.
