PlayStation Plus is about to lose 8 games including Yakuza, Borderlands

Borderlands, Games, including, lose, PlayStation, Yakuza

PlayStation Plus’ game catalog is getting a few changes this month; we’re getting 18 new games, including some great shooters, but we’re also getting 10 games to lose.

Of the ten games that have left the service, three of them were Yakuza titles, and we regret their departure. So, unless you like spending money or also have an Xbox Game Pass membership, this will be your last chance to play these games for free.

The ten games leaving PS Plus are:

  • Yakuza 0
  • Yakuza
  • Yakuza Cool 2
  • Borderlands 3
  • Nid Hogg
  • 8 army
  • hold tightly
  • The Crew 2
  • DCL – Games
  • Carmagdon: Max Damage

These games will Withdrawal from service on August 15, so you have a few weeks to try to finish them, or read them all if you haven’t had the chance yet. You can find these games in the “Last Chance to Play” section on your console.

As mentioned, the exit of the three Yakuza games is quite a loss. However, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can still play Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 for free through the service. However, Yakuza, 3, 4, 5, 6: Song of Life, and Yakuza are still available on PS Plus.

Also, we’re sad to see Borderlands 2 leave the service, especially considering we also said goodbye to Borderlands: The Handsome Collection yesterday, July 18th. That said, the games have been discounted all the time, so there are still plenty of ways you can buy them. If you’re after some wacky co-op shooter fun, give it a go.
