next event Pokemon Go It will be the Festival of Colors, which will start next week on March 15th and run until March 20th.
As part of Season of Alola, the event will debut the dancing Pokemon Oricorio. The Oricorios you encounter will have different styles depending on where in the world they were captured.
You’ll find Baile Style Oricorio in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Pom-Pom Style Oricorio will appear in the Americas, Pa’u Style Oricorio will appear in Africa, Asia, Pacific and Caribbean islands, and Sensu Style Oricorio will appear in Asia Pacific.
The event will include a collection challenge, upon completion you will earn 20,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and meet Oricorio.
During the event, the following Pokémon will appear in the wild more frequently, and you may even encounter Shiny ones: Drowzee, Horsea, Gligar, Slugma, Taillow, Trapinch, Turtwig, Croagunk, Fletchling, and Oricorio.
If you’re lucky, Beautifly, Dustox, and Alomomola might show up.
An interstellar raid during this period will include Jigglypuff, Torchic, Treecko, Mudkip and Rockruff. In 3 star raids you can expect Marowak, Alolan Marowak, Chansey, Unbreon and Druddigon. The star of the five-star raid will be Therian Forme Tornadus, while Lopunny will appear in the larger raid.
Field Research Mission encounters will include Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, Alolan Grimer, Castform, Sunny Form Castform, Rainy Form Castform, Snowy Form Castform, Plant Cloak Burmy, Sand Cloak Burmy and Trash Cloak Burmy. If you’re lucky, you might come across a version of Oricorio in your area.
Completing certain field research missions during this time will grant you super powers for Venus, Charizard, and Burst.
