Pokémon GO unveils its plans for Pokémon Day

Pokémon Go is a mass phenomenon that still attracts a good number of users, proof of this are the astronomical figures that the Niantic game reaps month after month. Soon, being concrete, on February 27, the Pokémon Day will be celebrated and from Pokémon GO they don't want to be less, since they will have special events throughout the day.

As they collect from ComicBook, there will be different special events that feature a good handful of special Pokémon. This year, the mobile game celebrates with new disguised Pokémon

, some of which have ties to the Pokémon movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back EVOLUTION, which will be released worldwide on Netflix on February 27. From February 25 until March 2, Pikachu and Eevee with party hats will appear in the streets, while Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander with party hat will come out of the 7 KM eggs.

Further, Mewtwo with armor will make his return in the 5 star raids, this time with the special Psystrike charge attack. Mewtwo also brings cloned versions of Pokemon like Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard to 4-star raids. The Pikachu clone will also appear using the Go Snapshot function. Finally, Nidorino and Gengar will appear in a special event on Raid Day, which will be on Sunday, March 1, this time wearing party hats. Both Pokémon also have the opportunity to be Shiny when they meet during raids.

Although the Pokémon Day is celebrated on February 27, Pokémon GO events will run from February 25 to March 2.
