It has just been officially announced, you will soon have new ways to earn PokéPieces without spending money on Pokémon GO. This virtual currency, if it is well spent (in the most advantageous boxes), allows free to play players to easily compete with most people who regularly put small sums in the game. Let’s see together how to get up to 55 PokéPieces per day, and therefore earn the equivalent of more than 150 euros in virtual currency each year!
The traditional arena method
Before tackling the new ways to earn PokéPieces, we must talk about the method currently in force : keep arenas for your "Team". The maximum amount you can earn each day is 50 PokéCoins, which is by no means negligible. To reach these 50 Coins, you must have one of your Pokémon hold an arena for 8h (i.e. a third of a full day).
If you are in a large metropolis like Paris, where it is extremely difficult to hold an arena for 8 hours, know that'' you can reach your 8 hours daily by doing 4 times 2 hours, or any other imaginable cutout. The main thing is to have reached the total 8 hours at the end of the day. Which means that to win all your Coins, you must dedicate it some play time everyday. You can also land one or two Pokémon at night, where it will have the best chance of survival and recover your 50 PokéPieces on waking!
If you are in a less "competitive" area, the best thing to do is to'' get in touch with other teams who covet the arenas around your home (during a raid for example) and organize yourself. By establishing small amicable rotations, you will no longer have to worry about big things and you will save precious time
Finally, it is important to know that each Pokémon can only bring back 50 PokéPieces. So if you find a somewhat lost arena and leave your Pokémon there for 2 whole days, you won't win 100 Coins. This is why cooperation and organization with other teams is so important.
10 new ways to win PokéCoins
However, the era of the Arena is soon over. Niantic is currently testing new methods in Australia to make it easier to get your daily free PokéPieces from your home. And when all of this is deployed in France, the Arena will no longer win 50 coins in just over 8 hours (i.e. 6 coins per hour) but 48 pieces in 24h (i.e. 2 pieces per hour). It will therefore be extremely difficult, not to say impossible impossible, to rely only on the Arena to win your PokéPièces.
You will soon be able to receive your 50 PokéPieces by performing 10 small tasks everyday. Each task therefore earns 5 PokéPieces. Here they are :
- Have a great throw ;
- Evolve a Pokémon ;
- Have a great throw ;
- Use a Bay to Help You Catch a Pokémon ;
- Take a picture of your boyfriend ;
- Catch a Pokémon ;
- Reload a Pokémon ;
- Make a nice throw ;
- Transfer a Pokémon ;
- Win a Raid.
We can already take up 3 tasks a little more complicated than the others: make an evolution, win a raid and make an Excellent throw. And again, the difficulty remains minimal and if you have a certain level, nothing can be a problem for you. In any case, you should recover at least 40 Pieces in five minutes. In the short term, we advise you to try memorize all these missions daily to be able to chain them quickly as soon as you open the application for the first time of the day.
Finally, know that the maximum number of PokéPieces to collect each day has been reduced from 50 to 55 Pieces. Which means that in addition to the 10 missions, hold an arena for 2h30 if you want to collect your 55 Coins. And people able to hold an arena longer than that can even be exempted from one or more daily missions!
