Pokémon Sword and Shield will allow to capture the Pikachu Gigamax shape for the first time. It will be at the new game event that will reside in the Wilderness Area, as usual. It will be in this way that the players will be able to find, fight and capture the Pikachu in this gigantic way. Until now, this special form of the best-known Pokémon of all was only available to all players who had save data for the Pokémon game Let’s Go: Pikachu!
With the arrival of Pikachu Gigamax, Dragapult, Togekiss, Rotom and other featured Pokémon from the previous event will disappear from Wild Area raids. The electric type Pokémon will have a Gigamax factor and the Surf movement, with the possibility of appearing under its shiny version, as collected by the portal Comicbook.
The Gigamax forms, which change the size of the Pokémon considerably, returns Pikachu to its "chubby" aspect, as it appeared in its beginning of the saga. However, its tail is more electric than ever and its movements more powerful, being able to immobilize creatures immune to this type of attack.
The arrival of Pikachu Gigamax is not the only novelty in Pokémon Sword and Shield. The game, which receives these types of events frequently, is about to add the Isle of Armor, the first of the two DLCs that is part of the Expansion Pass of Nintendo Switch games.
