Bloober Team and co-developer Anshar Studios have announced that Layers of Fear is coming to consoles and PC in June.
To that end, a demo of Horror Chronicles is now available on Steam.
The demo, which will be available until May 22, will give you a glimpse into the disturbing world of The Writer, the game’s third and final protagonist. You’ll explore her story as it’s the thread that connects the threads of the previous installments.
Built using Unreal Engine 5, the game supports ray tracing, HDR, and 4K resolution for improved visual accuracy, in-game reflections, and immersive graphical fidelity. It also leverages Lumen Global Illumination for dynamic lighting, Niagara Visual Effects to create particle effects in real-time, and motion system controls to improve the development process and optimization of all game mechanics.
The reimagined Horror Chronicles will be available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles starting June 15.
