In addition to the titles that have already been announced, Ubisoft is of course working on other games that have not yet been confirmed. One of them is Project U – a co-op shooter that will soon be tested.
In the past, Ubisoft has often tested shooters behind the scenes without releasing them in the end. Nevertheless, we still do not shy away from testing new concepts. With Project U, the next title is now in the works – and selected games may be able to form their own impressions of this in the near future.
So Ubisoft has that Project U now donated its own website. On this, players who live in Western Europe can register for a closed test phase.
What is Project U? The unannounced title is said to be a new co-op shooter that is supposed to have a new concept and is based on sessions. The registration website also has at least a first piece of artwork showing various warriors with weapons. These seem to be defending themselves against a kind of robot army.
In the title, players fight together against a seemingly overwhelming threat. It seems that no PvP elements will find their way into Project U. If you want to take part in the test phase, you need at least the following PC (for 30 fps):
- OS: Windows 10
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 oder AMD Ryzen 3 1200
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (8GB VRAM) oder AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 (8GB VRAM)
There is no release date or start date for the test phase at the moment. In any case, anyone who is lucky enough to be able to participate will be informed by e-mail from Ubisoft.
