Microsoft heralds the next test phase for the in-house game streaming service Project xCloud. The preview version is now being expanded to include the local market.

Microsoft has been working intensively on its own game streaming service Project xCloud for a long time – also with a view to the upcoming console generation around the Xbox Series X. The first test runs have been underway for some time and now the company has heralded the next step in this regard.
In a press release, the next phase of the test run was confirmed, in which even more players around the world should have access to the streaming service. As announced on April 7, the xCloud preview for Android devices is now being extended to Western Europe. In the course of this, the first invitations for the preview are now being distributed in Germany.

- a Microsoft account as well as an Xbox gamertag
- an Android phone or tablet with Android 6.0 or higher and with Bluetooth version 4.0
- a Bluetooth-enabled Xbox One wireless controller
- Access to a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection that supports a bandwidth of 10 Mbit / s – similar to video streaming.
