ProSieben Maxx opens Anime Night in January 2022 with a bang. The broadcaster shows the Exceptional anime film “Promare” am January 7th, 2022 at 8:15 pm in German premiere. The work from the cult forge Trigger convinces with an exciting plot and funky optics à la “BNA: Brand New Animal”.
As you are used to from the animation studio, it works completely wacky and exaggerated to. Trigger presents you a wild roller coaster ride in the style of “Gurren Lagann” and “Kill la Kill” – only condensed into an anime film.

For the work, director Hiroyuki Imaishi (“Cyberpunk: Edgerunners”) and screenwriter Kazuki Nakashima (“Gurren Lagann”) came together as a team. Tomotaka Kubo (“In This Corner of the World”) was the art director, while comonist Hiroyuki Sawano (“86 – Eighty Six”) contributed the sound to the work.
