Spread March PS Plus Games It has been revealed!Users with a Plus Plus Essential subscription will be able to download Battlefield 2024, Code Vein, and Minecraft Dungeons Free starting March 7.
It was announced in a fast-paced gameplay montage during PlayStation Stay of Play. The show also showcased several new releases, including a slew of new games from the PS Plus catalog. If you’re keen to download the new PS Plus Game of the Month, do so before April 3rd.
First up was Battlefield 2042, a game that had a troubled launch and many of those issues were ironed out a few months later with patches and a major content overhaul. It has classes now, and the map is a little smoother than before, but it still has a long way to go. Still, if you’ve shunned the game and are curious about what it’s like these days, the free download won’t do you much harm, will it?
Then there’s Minecraft Dungeons, which takes the block-crafting heavy game to a whole new dimension with a top-down action-adventure twist. It supports up to four-player co-op, a bunch of different gear to change up our playstyle, and tons of character customization. We found it to be good enough at launch, but with new content released since then it might be worth giving it another try.
And finally there’s Code Vein, an anime vampire soul that loves to move fast and a unique world full of dark wonder and mystery. It has perhaps one of the most refined character customization systems in the genre, and the vampire narrative that goes with it. We thought it was okay in our review, but it’s well worth checking out if you have the time.
All in all, this is the standard selection of PS Plus games this March. Let us know what you think of the three below, and if you plan to download any of them.
