Gaming News PSVR 2 too expensive? Between anger and disappointment, Horizon fans are at the center of the controversy
Since its announcement, the PlayStation VR 2 has drawn a lot of ink across the internet, with the heart of the issue often revolving around its price tag, which most gamers consider too high. Today, it’s mostly Horizon’s fans who are speaking up and saying that dissatisfaction is starting to mount.
A PS VR 2 that’s not for everyone
Earlier in the week, we mentioned a major exclusivity in our columns that confirmed its presence in the PlayStation VR 2 launch catalog. No more and no less. it’s Horizon: Call of the Mountain, a title specially designed for a virtual reality experience on PlayStation 5, putting its context in the universe of Horizon: Zero Dawn and Horizon: Forbidden West.
So, to play it, you have to dedicate yourself $599.99 of your savings on the purchase of the PSVR 2 virtual reality headset scheduled for February 22nd (Pre-orders are open, by the way). If some players seem ready to break the bank, it has to be recognized that the price is still relatively high, exceeding that of the PS5. Many players are shocked by such a price and do not hesitate to announce it on the different social networks. like Horizon fans starting to crawl.
Horizon fans have their say
We then have to look further on the side of a thread Reddit to see the anger and/or disappointment of followers of the Horizon saga. Most of the time it is purely a matter of cost, ie Many players are unable to raise such a sum to afford PSVR 2
$600 for the VR2 that comes with this game I’ve never been a big fan of VR. I’ll probably skip my train.
I can’t wait to play it… five years from now when I can finally afford the VR2.
Not to mention the price of the games that can hurt the wallet, Some gamers even recall the simple fact that they couldn’t get their hands on a PlayStation 5
That looks great. I wish I could play it but I don’t have a PS5 and I won’t have a PSVR2. I have my fingers crossed that they bring it to PC.
And while some optimistic fans are therefore hoping that Horizon: Call of the Mountain will eventually land on PC, other players have no choice but to put an end to this new adventure as they suffer from motion sicknessbetter known as motion sickness.
I wish I could play games in VR but I get motion sickness.
Multiple Scenarios for One and the Same Conclusion: All those Horizon fans aren’t ready to play Call of the Mountain yet…
as a reminder Horizon: Call of the Mountain is expected for February 22, 2023, along with the launch of PSVR 2, all exclusively on PlayStation 5.
