Released in May 2023, Railway Empire moves into a new region. A fresh DLC now takes you to the Ottoman Empire.
Kalypso Media and Gaming Mind Studios have released new DLC for Railway Empire 2, released last year. A new travel route takes you through the Balkans to the Ottoman Empire. There you have to explore vibrant cities including Constantinople and come into contact with the history and culture of the Balkans.
In terms of content, there are six new, historically accurate locomotives, including the Bavarian S 3/6, and more than ten new luxury goods that need to be transported. The new luxury train connections should offer you even more opportunities to further expand your railway empire.

Next stop Constantinople: This Railway Empire 2-DLC transports players into the new, fully voiced scenario
“Journey to the East” (1881-1890). -
East: A new “Balkans” regional map with new city buildings as well as a new train station building for the southern areas of the map.

New and exotic goods: More than 10 new productsincluding golden honey, aromatic olives and luxurious carpets.

Colossal Power: 6 new locomotivesfor example the Bavarian S 3/6 or the CFR 142 Karpatenstolz.

The splendor of the fin de siècle: The new feature of the Luxury train connection can be researched from 1870. This means that players have access to new luxury carriages as well as adjustable ticket prices that can be used to increase sales.

Atmospheric: 10 new pieces of music and 19 Jingles provide atmosphere in the new campaign and map.
The new DLC is available on the PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 platforms.
With “Journey to the East” you’ll now find yourself in the Balkans and the Ottoman Empire in Railway Empire 2.
