Ubisoft regularly delivers new gameplay in Rainbow Six Extraction in the form of crisis events. The next issue starts with “Eclipse” and takes you into the darkness.
The third crisis event in Rainbow Six Extraction is called “Eclipse” and is available in the action game from now until September 1st. The operators are sometimes forced into absolute darkness, while a new threat lurks in three sub-zones.
On the Truth of Consequences map, you encounter the source of darkness: the Neoplasm. This threat emits pulses that can detect movement within a radius. In each subzone you have to use a silent takedown to weaken the neoplasm. If movement is detected, the Neoplasm will flee to the next subzone and it will become increasingly difficult for you to encounter it again.
In order to progress from subzone to subzone, you must restore power to a generator while facing off against the archaea onslaught. The crisis reaches its climax in the third subzone, where you must finally destroy the neoplasm and safely get to the evacuation point.
In addition to the crisis event, the new operator Echo is also joining the REACT team. Known for his efficiency in gathering information, he will be valuable in both Eclipse and the main game as an addition to teams. Echo’s Yokai Drone transmits a video image to him and can fire ultrasonic pulses that disorient all targets hit. A new REACT Gadget can also be unlocked with the Aura Grenade. To do this, you must complete the task “Perform 50 stealth kills against different archaea types”.
