The days that separate us from the official release of Rainbow Six: Extraction will soon be counted on one hand. The game, due for release on January 20th across multiple platforms, gives a final push to its communication campaign to take stock of the endgame and high-level content of Rainbow Six Siege’s sequel with breathless gameplay.

is in turmoil. In the span of a week, Ubisoft has made and unveiled a slew of announcements surrounding its next game a merger with Microsoft. Last Friday, Ubisoft even continued with the unveiling a new trailer that allowed us to learn more about the story of Rainbow Six: Extraction and discover the destructive power of the parasite Chimera.

While waiting for the title to be released, we took care of it a summary returning to various key points in the game so everyone is ready to welcome the latest addition to the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six franchise. Also, Ubisoft has planned to broadcast one final co-op live the day before release, but the publisher has kept things under control, particularly as far as the game’s endgame content is concerned.

Rainbow Six: Extraction Granted it has a campaign that should keep players busy for many hours, but Ubisoft’s biggest challenge is keeping players with a sufficiently attractive endgame game mode. That’s where Malestrom Protocol comes in, a mode inspired by Outbreak from Rainbow Six Siege but far from a pale copy.

The latter offers strong replay value and is therefore aimed at players who have reached a fairly high level and who wants test their skills through intense and tough challenges. In program : Random targets, enemies to eliminate, and procedural elements, all on a series of sub-maps. A mode that will therefore certainly be the focus of the post-launch follow-up of Rainbow Six: Extraction

This presentation, combines gameplay and developer commentary, shows us, among other things, the challenge presented by the Maelstrom Protocol: the difficulty is multiplied by three and requires players to complete a series of objectives, in this case nine. However, failing a mission should not be taken lightly, since in this case it will be necessary to rescue the operators through MIA missions within the basic extraction modes.
