“Rainbow Six: Siege” will hold a limited time event with the theme of extraction

If you are disappointed with the recent delay of “Rainbow Six”, you may be interested in this siege limited time mode.

Ubisoft announced a new limited time event Rainbow Six Siege. Starting today, and lasting until August 24, the event is called Containment, which draws some inspiration from activities focused on cooperatives Rainbow Six Extraction, Has recently been postponed to 2022.

As is typical for siege events, Containment introduces a new PvP game mode that is only available during the event. The new mode called Nest Destruction took place on a modified version of the game consulate map, and now is full of Chimera parasites at the heart of Extraction’s story.

Although Extraction is a PvE game, Nest Destruction will proceed like a standard siege PvP game, with one team attacking and the other team defending. There is a fragile legendary reason for this setting; Amoeba, one of the enemy types in Extraction, has taken the form of siege guards, who will try to prevent attackers from destroying the nest.

However, there is an interesting twist: Defenders will be limited to melee attacks, while attackers will spawn with their standard equipment. As compensation, the speed and health of the defenders have been improved, and they can even use some melee skills, such as Aluni’s heavy punch and antelope’s Rama sprint.

It just happened that the asylum was another free weekend under the siege of Rainbow Six. It runs on all platforms from August 13th to 15th. During this period, the progress of battle pass points will be doubled.
