The next GTA is definitely coming – is 50 Cent possibly involved? We’re smarter now.
Update from March 10, 2023: Since Curtis Jackson has probably allowed a pretty clever marketing gag. Because as it turns out, the rapper has nothing to do with the next part of the Grand Theft Auto series. The ominous Vice City posts from 50 Cent on social media are not related to GTA 6, but a TV series from Paramount and Lionsgate – like Deadline revealed.
Although the TV series Vice City is thematically similar to elements of the GTA series, it is officially unrelated to the Rockstar games. 50 Cent’s ambiguous posts have since been removed from social media.

GTA 6 and Vice City: After the big gameplay leak around GTA 6 we now know that Rockstar definitely wants to return to Vice City with the next installment in the series. Of course, this suggests that 50 Cent anteasted something about it and not, for example, about GTA Online.
What could be behind the teaser: As for 50 Cent’s potential role in GTA 6, there are of course several possibilities:
- 50 Cent could play himself in GTA 6 and have a guest appearance – just like Dr. Dre in GTA Online updates The Cayo Perico Heist and The Contract.
- 50 Cent could contribute to the GTA 6 soundtrack or even be involved as a host of a fictional radio station – like DJ Pooh for example.
- Maybe 50 Cent has nothing to do with GTA 6 – instead, the rapper could also tease a possible role in GTA Online.
- There have also been rumors and speculations lately about a possible film adaptation of GTA as a TV series. For this would speak that 50 cents

alludes to – a series that Jackson is responsible for as a producer and leading actor.
This is of course mere speculation. Only time will tell what exactly 50 Cent and its potential tease for GTA 6 are all about.
In The Contract update for GTA Online, Dr. Dre a supporting role. That 50 Cent is involved in a similar project at Rockstar would not be so unlikely.
But it wouldn’t be too surprising if Rockstar continued to work with musicians like 50 Cent or Dr. dre work together. In recent years, the studio has ventured further and further into the musical genre and, for example, founded its own label Circoloco Records.
