In the fight against COVID-19, quite a few companies come up with something. Razer has now switched some producti on lines to produce much needed surgical masks.
Min-Liang Tan, CEO and Creative Director of Razer, surprised today with an impressive announcement on Twitter and Facebook. Accordingly, the engineers and designers of the hardware manufacturer have been working fever ishly over the past few days to convert some production lines to the production of surgical masks. And apparently with success. Instead of mice and keyboards, protective masks now roll from some production lines.
Razer is now planning to distribute up to a million protective masks to health authorities in various countries affected by the virus, starting with Singapore, the company's headquarters. Razer's global offices also want to contact their local health authorities to prioritize and organize their distribution.
Razer plans to take further steps in the near future to support the fight against COVID-19. Great action!
So I haven’t had much sleep over the past couple of days to get this initiative up and running, but I’m happy to be able to announce this on behalf of the team here at @Razer
