Razer is expanding its PlayStation 5 headset portfolio, including the first wireless PS5 headset with intelligent Razer HyperSense technology for haptic feedback.
The Razer Kaira headsets were already able to convince us for the Xbox consoles, now the PlayStation 5 is also getting some offshoots.
The Razer Kaira Pro Dual Wireless Headset is Razer’s first wireless headset for the PlayStation 5 with Razer HyperSense, an intelligent haptic technology that provides lifelike, touch-sensitive feedback based on audio signals. The technology was recently updated and revised with the Kraken V3, after its introduction with the Razer Nari Ultimate. The Razer Kaira Pro also has the proven Razer TriForce Titanium 50 mm drivers on board.
In-game communication is via the removable Razer HyperClear supercardioid microphone. The wireless headset also has a built-in microphone for mobile use. Smartphone users connect the Kaira Pro via Bluetooth, while PS5, PS4, PC and other devices with a USB-C or USB-A port can be connected using the 2.4 GHz USB-C Razer HyperSpeed dongle supplied.
The Razer Kaira Pro Dual Wireless Headset can be pre-ordered from November 30th and will be available in December at a price of 219.99 dollars.
Furthermore, the Razer Kaira Dual Wireless Headset appears, almost identical in construction, but without the haptic feedback, but also with 2.4 GHz wireless technology and BlueTooth. The new wireless Razer Kaira Pro and Razer Kaira headsets complement the wired Razer Kaira X, which was released in September 2021. The Razer Kaira Dual Wireless Headset is now available at a price of 109.99 dollars.
Razer also announced its Quick Charging Stands today. The Razer Quick Charging Stand charges the controller in under three hours, promising short breaks between gaming sessions. The charging station is available in white, black and red. The charging station is now available for 59.99 dollars.
