A surreal crossover between Twitch and Red Dead Redemption 2
While modders have attacked Red Dead Redemption PC, particularly with a questionable mod, content creator Blurbs has just redesigned the second work. How ? By modifying the game so that its Twitch chat can give the NPC a voice by writing lines of dialogue via speech synthesis. « I modified Red Dead Redemption 2 so that my Twitch chat can have all NPCs speak live. I invite the entire Internet to take part in this terrible experiment. This is my masterpiece » he explained on X.
If he states that it is his masterpiece, it is because “Blurbs” is not his first attempt. This WTF Red Dead Redemption 2 mod was previously tested on Skyrim and achieved an equally surreal result. In the clip below we see the screaming child Jack “I am the Lord of Death. Jack the Ripper will be my name »without wishing the animals well. « This required a major overhaul of Red Dead Redemption 2. A backend server, an entirely new audio engine, and a number of custom dialogue features/tools » Blurbs explained. You have an excerpt below, but a long video of this RDR2 mod was posted on his YouTube channel – be careful, there may be some slip-ups. At the moment there is no question of sharing this work with the rest of the world.
