Reddit is down: Users reported several problems to us on Monday evening

Are you on the Reddit forum? You should be prepared for problems on Monday evening, as many users report that there are difficulties.

Over 1,000 Reddit users contacted us via our fault reporter on Monday evening around 7:00 p.m. and reported that the well-known online forum was apparently currently struggling with a disruption. And there are probably more than just one area of difficulty.

As we can see from your reports, there are problems with both the Reddit app and the playback of content. Furthermore, around a quarter of the reports reported connection problems. The number of reports is currently increasing.

In addition, we in our editorial team tried to access Reddit via the official website in the browser. That didn’t work either and we got the message “Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later.” displayed. An end to the disruption remains to be seen.
