Yesterday evening Microsoft and Bethesda broadcast the first major event of the new year with Developer_Direct. The vampire action game Redfall took up a lot of space, from which not only plenty of fresh gameplay could be seen. There is also a concrete release date!
As promised beforehand, Arkane Austin used the Developer_Direct stage yesterday evening to extensively present one of the Bethesda blockbusters planned for this year. While Starfield wasn’t featured yesterday, Redfall took up a lot of space in the presentation.
Above all, the result was plenty of gameplay, because the vampire first-person shooter showed an almost 12-minute video with a number of impressions, which you can take a look at below in this report. The developers show the open game world as well as the malicious blood-sucking residents and m ore.
In addition, since yesterday the specific new release date has finally been set: From May 2nd, 2023 you will be able to open the vampire hunt in the streets of Redfall, Massachusetts. Then you can start alone or in a co-op mode.
If you order early, you can secure pre-order bonuses, which will also be available via Game Pass. Specifically, the “Vampire Hunter Pack” awaits you, which offers a shotgun with 20 percent increased damage for eight seconds if you have previously eliminated an opponent with it. There is also a multi-weapon skin and the Blood Ravager Stake weapon extension on board.
In addition to the standard version, you can also grab the Bite Back Edition, which already includes the Hero Pass with two future heroes. Also included is the “Throwback Outfit Pack” with an outfit and backpack for each of the four heroes in the game; These garments pick up on the lives of the four protagonists before Redfall. Rounding out this version of the game is the Laser Beam Multi-Weapon skin and the Tactical Knife Stake weapon extension.
Redfall was actually planned for 2022, but was pushed back to 2023. It is now clear: Redfall will be released on May 2nd, 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
