At the Tribeca Games Showcase, the Asobo Studio team has appeared to provide a few new details on how development is going on A Plague Tale: Requiem, the long-awaited sequel to the magnificent A Plague Tale: Innocence in which Amicia and Hugo will return. with an exciting adventure.
As the study has pointed out, the story of this second part promises to leave us moments of the most emotional and exciting. Our protagonist must continue to act as an older sister by having to take care of her little brother, although the plot aims to be even more interesting in which we will see how both grow as they face the adversities that await them.
Although Amicia will have no choice but to fight on occasion, the gameplay will again focus mainly on stealth and investigation to solve the puzzles of the scenarios. Above all, we will witness when the fearsome plague of rats appears, which will be even bigger, although this time thanks to Hugo’s powers we can use it in our favor.
All this has been accompanied by a few new sequences that have allowed us to verify that the characters will look even more realistic in this third person adventure. In addition, its melodies will be provided by Olivier Derivière, the same composer who was responsible for the soundtrack of the first installment.
The only negative part of all this is that A Plague Tale: Requiem Still no approximate release date. Thus, its launch is still scheduled for 2022 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
