Capcom has released patches for Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 that bring ray tracing back to the game.
Earlier this week, the company released a remake update that removed the ray tracing option without explanation.
As it turns out, the removal was unintentional, and Capcom has now Patch Ray Tracing Get back into the game.
In addition to ray tracing, players have also reported a lack of 3D audio options after the last update rolled out. As of press time, we’re not sure if it’s also included in this patch. If not, we expect it to be added back soon.
The most recent release in the remake and reboot department was Resident Evil 4 Remake, which was not only well received, but sold very well.
iGamesNews’s review of the game gave it five stars, with Kelsey writing: “A string of successful Resident Evil Remakes also gives me hope for the future. Over time, I’ve made it very clear that I’m not the biggest fan of Resident Evil 5 or 6, however, this remake — seeing all the intricate details woven into this remake of a timeless classic without losing its magic — has made me a lot more open about what’s to come.”
