Resident Evil 9 should be short of the announcement, but apparently there are generally rosy times for fans of the horror franchise. There could be three games in the next three years.
Recently it was said in the rumor mill that Resident Evil 9 should be right before the announcement. The tomorrow of Playstation State of Play, in addition to the Summer Game Fest, also offers an additional option for this. Now follows the next insider report, according to which series fans are apparently imminent.
It is again Dusk Golem aestheticgamer who has spoken out via social media – one of the most reliable insiders around the Capcom franchise. Although changes are of course always possible, he currently assumes that three resident evil games will actually come to us over the next three years. Capcom delivered a similar series in the period 2019 to 2023 – starting with the Resident Evil 2 remake up to the Resident Evil 4 remake.
While Capcom will do what it wishes & there will always be the whims of game dev to contend with, right now I think it’s very likely it’ll go RE9 for 2026, RE:0 for 2027, RE:CV for 2028. https://t.co/HWh2OnIL33

According to the insider, Resident Evil 9 should make the beginning in 2026 – an information that had previously made the round and could be confirmed promptly. In 2027, a remake of Resident Evil Zero is expected to await us, which in 2028 is to follow a remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica.
In this regard, the greatest uncertainty seems to be in the context of Resident Evil Zero's remake, because according to Aestheticgamer there is said to have been “a kind of change of developer” around six monsten. Accordingly, there is a chance that Zero and Code: Veronica could still swap the places.
