On May 7th, players can get their hands on Resident Evil Village. The title includes the mercenary mode, but also grants access to Resident Evil Re: Verse, a multiplayer title in the same universe. However, we have to wait a bit before we can get started.

Resident Evil Re: Verse was featured alongside Resident Evil Village and had never formalized a May 7 release while pointing out the title was included in Resident Evil Village. Today Capcom updated the official license page

Resident Evil and added a very informative little insert. We learn that in particular Subject: Verse will only be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC this summer. However, Capcom states that the PS5 and Xbox series are running the “old-gen” versions. Was that a postponement or was it planned that way from the start? Difficult to know there Capcom does not provide any additional information on the subject. That being said, the beta issues may have caused developers to silently postpone the release so they can fix the issues.
