Umbrella keeps playing!
When it comes to the Umbrella Corporation, it’s hard to believe that an idyllic situation like New Raccoon City can last for very long. The company is very angry: its bad reputation precedes it and it therefore wants to rehabilitate itself. For the occasion, the company wants to work on a new tablet with unique virtues. Thanks to “Joy”, the company hopes to quickly regain people’s smiles and trust, only with this revolutionary product, the stage for the zombie apocalypse has already been set.
The previous trailer made us realize that Umbrella’s experiments would quickly turn into a nightmare. And of course, when the situation threatens to escalate, the executives put their finger on the problem: the famous miracle pill “Joy” actually contains the T-Virus, capable of spawning an army of bloodthirsty undead and many other hideous and terrifying ones creatures. If we’ve already spotted a handful of them, the bestiary generated by Umbrella is featured more in this unreleased excerpt, released to coincide with Netflix Geeked Week.
Netflix has planned an army of monsters of all kinds!
On July 14th, not only pyrotechnic fireworks await us, but actually hemoglobin fireworks. The zombies and creatures that now populate the world, or at least the streets of London in 2036, are chasing the slightest human who could satisfy them and don’t want them to slip out of their hands.. A group of survivors quickly forms, and that’s not too bad as the threat above the trailer seems to be getting more and more dangerous.
A giant worm, a rabid mutant dog, oversized spiders, sharp-toothed creatures, a zombie-like version of the franchise’s Sadako ring… If the Umbrella Corporation wanted to make amends, they’ve pretty much failed, and this army of monsters will make things difficult for those not tempted by the promises of the “joy” pill.. Luckily they are pretty well armed and don’t seem to want to get infected that easily!
