Game news Return: Update 1.41 fixes a backup problem
In a blog post published today, Housemarque stated that they are releasing a patch for Returnal today. This update is 1.41 and fixes issues related to backups, among other things.
Allegedly fixed since patch 1.3.6 on May 8th, problems related to the corruption of some backups are still part of Returnal. In particular, if the author of this message became a victim after the patch that was supposed to delete it, it is the notes from patch 1.41 that indicate its presence. In fact, Housemarque posted information about this update on its official website today. which has been in use since 11:00 a.m. French time. An update following the extensive 1.4: the latter brought new features to the PS5 controller to encourage immersion while smoothing out difficulty to provide a better gaming experience.
As a reminder, Returnal is a third-person shooter game developed by Housemarque. The player plays Selene, an astronaut stuck on a hostile planet and trapped in a loop in which death brings her back to the same place. She tries to break out of this trap when an event from her past reappears.

- Trophies: The Atropian Survival, Welcome Home and Sins of the Mother trophies can be obtained by joining at the end of Act III.
- Daily Challenge: Fixed a bug that prevented players from completing a Daily Challenge in the Broken Desert

- Fixed a visual bug that sometimes occurred when scanning new items
