Riot Games, known for its League of Legends and Valorant games, has just announced a huge event that will affect all games from the universe of their franchise.
In League of Legends, the event runs August 8-10, with new missions available every week. A new game mode will appear where you can use the ultimate of a second champion in addition to the one you are playing. 11 skins will be added, some at a later date. Affected are Vayne, Olaf, Irelia, Riven, Diana, Pantheon, Graves, Pyke, Rengar, Miss Fortune (July 22nd) and Thresh (July 29th).
As for League of Legends: Wild Rift, the event will run from July 9th to August 11th. Players can explore the lore with Sentinels of Light: Fearless Heart, a comic book series that examines the conflict between the Sentinels and Viego, the fallen king. This format can be discovered in the Wild Rif application with one episode per week throughout the event.
For Legends of Runeterra, the event runs from July 14th to August 10th. The game will be full of new features starting with a second expansion from Champions, like the one last February. As announced above, Akshan will be introduced to the game through a mini expansion. He won’t share it alone, however, as it will also include Viego as well as 21 new cards to collect. New customization items will also be available.
Starting June 21st, Teamfight Tactics will take on the colors of the Sentinels of Light event. For this occasion, a fearsome opponent awaits you in Teamfight Tactics Judgment: Dawn of the heroes, namely the Chaos Penguin! The struggle to push back the Black Fog will also always be present. A plethora of additions are also planned as part of the event: new items, new blessings, and new champions, including Akshan, you’ll understand!
We close with the latest from the Riot Games studios, Valorant, which also hosts the Sentinels of Light event. Far from the big additions we’ve seen before, it’s about the availability of two skin packs, one on July 8th and the other on June 21st. The first focuses on the universe of Ruin, while the second highlights the Sentinels.
