The hit MMO Lost Ark today unveiled its brand new roadmap for June and July, which again announced a slew of new content. The next big raid boss and one await you soon new mage class. However, anyone who was hoping for the popular summoner will probably have to wait a while longer.
Roadmap promises a new class every two months
Probably the most exciting announcement of the new roadmap It may be that Amazon Games now wants to publish a new class every two months. After we already got the spear bearer and the destroyer, in July the Arkanistin follow.
Also known as Arcana in Korea, this magician relies entirely on magical cards. Not only does she slice up her enemies with thrown cards, but she can also cast powerful team effects with them.
Particularly exciting: With her Deck of Cards special ability, she can spin a roulette wheel and draw a random card from her deck, which then has particularly devastating consequences for her enemies.
You can get an idea of what this looks like in action in the following gameplay video:

Even if the arcanist looks pretty exciting, many fans of the summoner should now be disappointed. This won many fans in the open beta and was voted the most popular class by GameStar readers:
Lost Ark
Three classes are particularly popular with you
A release in 2022 has now become quite unlikely. As of now, Warriors and Martial Artists have gotten a new advanced class, with Sorceress coming in July – so we’re guessing that September and November will see Gunner and Assassin expansions. Here the upcoming classes should already be fixed with Scouter and Reaper.
What else happens in Lost Ark?
In addition to the new classes, there are of course many other innovations. Among other things, the second legion raid follows with Vykas, in which you have to take on the commander of the Greed Legion.
In order to be allowed to mess with the demon, you not only need seven other players, but also at least item level 1430 for normal mode or 1460 for hard mode.
What else you can look forward to:
- In summer there will be a free Punika power pass.
- A new express event is in the works.
Here’s what happens in June:
- A new Guardian Raid for item level 1460 lets you compete against the frost beast Kungelanium.
- A new solo 50 story tower called Throne Spire.
- New cosmetic sets in the real money shop.
And in July:
- The Legion raid Valtan gets the difficulty level Infernal.
- An event where abyss dungeons give larger rewards.
