The long-running Rocket League will again offer you fresh content during the Christmas season. The start date for the second season in the title has now been set.
The former indie hit and now a real long-runner Rocket League has now decided on a season model. Five years after the original publication, the loyal community can look forward to fresh material again as part of Season 2.
After switching to the free-to-play model earlier this year, new game content is now regularly available in the form of a Rocket Pass. The second such offer after the changeover is now due to start on December 9, 2020 in the coming week.
The focus is on all kinds of things to do with music, according to developer Psyonix. A thematically matching new Rocket Pass including arena, brand new customization options and of course fresh music tracks will be introduced, including by the artist Kaskade.
As part of the paid Rocket Pass, the R3MX is also a brand new vehicle with a neon paint scheme. This can be activated immediately via Rocket Pass Premium; By unlocking additional levels in the pass, you can ultimately secure the final version of the vehicle, the R3MX GXT.
The neeu arena is called “Neon Fields” and takes up the music theme with bright lights and colors. You can play in online playlists as well as in private games. You can find a new trailer for Season 2 attached.
Rocket League is available for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch, but can also be played on the new consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X / S with optimizations (4K, 120 fps).
