Where are all the RTX 3080s that should actually be in your computers? Cynics could say that they certainly didn’t get any feet and therefore didn’t just run away. And under normal circumstances the author of this text would also agree. If … yes, if the following curiosity didn’t make the rounds on the internet.

Apparently the RTX 3080 got feet after all, or uh … you should now be careful with the formulation, otherwise it will become a shoe. But enough of the joke!
However, it is absolutely correct that sneaker manufacturer Artifact Studios, RTFKT for short, actually built an RTX 3080 into a shoe – or at least a model of it.

Real mini PC or just fake?
Against: From the video clip shown, it is not clear whether it is really a working mini PC. If you take a closer look, you think you can see a real circuit board with RAM and an all-in-one water cooling from NZXT, but that can of course also be faked very well.
Pro: On the other hand, fans rotate in the sole area, which are presumably located on the radiator of the water cooling, and the display or the two displays also show animations, as is possible with the NZXT Kraken Z63, for example. So it’s always a good illusion. Missing power cables are treacherous.
Or is it just advertising? A little something must still be there, because peripheral device manufacturer NZXT will have already thought of its part in entering into a partnership with Artifact Studios.
On the RTFKT website Incidentally, at the moment there is no further information, only the possibility of subscribing to a mailing list and being informed about the latest developments.
Not very pleasant: A miner shows how else you can install the RTX 3080. Find out more in the following article:
