Nvidia confirms the publication period of the RTX 5070 (Ti).
Nvidia has clammy updated the official website for the RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti and confirmed the start time – contrary to recent assumptions, there is no release shift.
The RTX 5070 Ti starts and is to start retail on February 20, 2025. Around two weeks later, the regular RTX 5070 should be on the sales shelves; Nvidia mentions March 5 as a launch date.
- The prices of the RTX 5070 (Ti) have been determined for some time. The RTX 5070 should start at 649 dollars in the Founders Edition, and customer models can of course become more expensive.
- However, the RTX 5070 Ti does not have a Nvidia reference model, so that, so to speak, only a “specification” is directed to the board partners. As a result, the Blackwell GPU should start at 879 dollars.

Even if the leak mentioned at the beginning about a possible shift of the release turns out to be untrue, the basis of the rumor remains unclear. Whether NVIDIA succeeds in publishing the RTX 5070 (Ti) in contrast to the two RTX 50 graphics cards that have been published so far in sufficient quantities is still completely open.
It is also open whether the new Benchmarks of the RTX 5070 (Ti) published in the course of the updated website can be confirmed compared to their direct predecessors:
The only clue to the native increase in performance without taking DLSS 4 or multi -frame generation into account is Capcoms »Resident Evil 4«, which appears in the graphics for the RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti.
However, Nvidia shows a plenty of inadequate scaling here, so that the benchmark values cannot be specified. We actually have to strive for the classic pixel counting in the original size images made available in order to be able to produce at least any relation:
- In the RTX 5070, the RE4 bar is around 19.7 percent longer compared to the RTX 4070 (365 VS 437 PX).
- The RE4 bar of the RTX 5070 Ti is around 18.9 percent longer (365 against 434 px) than in its direct predecessor.
After all, we no longer have to be patient until we can determine actual values: the testimbargo to the two graphics cards usually falls a day before the actual launch. Accordingly, the first precise ratings on February 19 (RTX 5070 Ti) and March 4 (RTX 5070) can be expected.
