It has been a while since a hallway noise has mentioned a remaster potential for Diablo II. In fact since the announcement of StarCraft: Remastered the Blizzard community is very demanding on the subject.
Well according to the site ActuGaming in the lot of projects in preparation at Blizzard there is indeed a Diablo II Remaster in development. The site in question mentions "sources close to the studio". The game would even be called Diablo 2 Resurrected and would be planned for this end of year
It remains to be seen whether Blizzard will confirm this information or not. According to other sources from the same site, we also learn that 3 mobile games are in preparation at the publisher without further details.
In short, wait and see.
