The puzzle rates about the RX 9070 XT continues-probably until the end of February, when AMD is finally planning the official publication after a warmly inadequate CES-Keynote for the new graphics cards.

The graphics card is said to be already with dealers, so that it is not surprising that in the meantime leaks still get public. Such comes from the HKEPC portal, which recently presented a screenshot from the Radeon RX 9070 XT in the GPU-Z tool.

  • As a result, AMD builds the chip of the new RDNA-4 graphics card based on Navi 48. A total of 4,096 shading units are available.
  • The 16 GB of GDDR6-VRAM from manufacturer SK Hynix should be available in the memory. At a 256-bit interface at 20 GBPs speed, the RX 9070 XT reaches a bandwidth of around 640 GB/s.

The GPU-Z screenshot also gives new information about the clock. The model installed at HKEPC should come to 2,570 MHz in the basic clock; Up to 3.1 GHz is clocked by boost. It is unclear which custom model is based here.

HKEPC also submitted another screenshot for verification: In the recently published benchmark tool for the upcoming Monster Hunter: Wilds, the RX 9070 XT achieves a rating of 36,102 points.

The measurement was carried out in full HD resolution at high graphics settings and ultimately expressed an average of around 212 fps. However, the results also came about with the FSR and Frame generation.

RX 9070 (XT): In Canada, prices from Custom GPUs appear that do not fear anything good

In addition to the HKEPC leak of the technical specifications, which generally confirm previous rumors in this context, the AMD graphics card also appeared in Canada.

There Online-Shop »Canada Computers' (via Videocardz) had conducted various custom GPUs from the manufacturer PowerColor and XFX for a short period of time, which have some blatant RRP differences.

  • The cheapest custom GPU of the regular RX 9070 starts at $ 586 (the equivalent of around 560 dollars). In the RX 9070 XT, on the other hand, the cheapest model from XFX is estimated at $ 697 (around 668 dollars).
  • For comparison: the RTX 5070 starts in the USA for $ 549, the TI variant at $ 749. With these two Nvidia GPUs, the RDNA-4 generation wants to measure itself primarily and also create an “aggressive price strategy” in the RX 9070 XT.

However, it is most unlikely that the direct conversion into dollars will end up with us – provided that the Canadian shop keeps it right.

Because, as in the USA, Canadian shops do not indicate VAT at prices, which is added here in the amount of 19 percent. Net prices in Europe are also generally higher than in the North American countries. So if you want to believe the leak, you will probably have to expect at least 650 dollars for the RX 9070 and 850 dollars for the RX 9070 XT.

In any case, the prices for the custom models of the new AMD graphics cards can shoot rapidly according to the Canadian lists.

The most expensive model of the RX 9070 XT is available here in the form of the “PowerColor Red Devil” GPU, which is $ 865 (around 830 dollars). In the regular RX 9070, however, an “XFX Quicksilver OC” with a price of $ 662 (around 635 dollars) is called.
