After the emerging rumors, it was probably only a matter of time – and it now seems to have come: A PC implementation of the cute platformer Sackboy: A Big Adventure has now been officially confirmed; the waiting time until the release will even be quite short.
The next PlayStation-exclusive title to date will be released in early October. The title, which was released for the PS5 at the end of 2020, should also be available for the home calculator from October 27, 2022. PC gamers can then indulge in the cuddly and iconic character Sackboy from the LittleBigPlanet series.
That’s according to a trailer that appeared somewhat seduced on PlayStation’s Latin American YouTube channel; this video clip also called the above date. Since then, however, the video has been switched to private and is no longer freely accessible for the moment; it seems someone pushed the switch a little too soon.
The video also revealed some PC-specific features: 4K resolutions with up to 120 fps, ultrawide monitors and NVIDIA DLSS are supported. The trailer was garnished with links to Steam and the Epic Games Store, so that both popular platforms should probably be available.
With Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the eponymous hero was transported into his own adventure in 3D, after the LittleBigPlanet parts had previously set to 2.5D.
