Xiaomi’s bike in electric and foldable mode
The features of the Mi Smart Electric Folding Bike are at the level of electromobility. So to comply with the regulations in France, The bike must not exceed 25 km/h. The battery offers a range of up to 45 km, but the battery is smart because once the 50% mark is exceeded, the speed drops to 20 km/h to save the battery.
Regarding its structure, the Xiaomi bike consists of a rigid aluminum alloy frame. The battery is placed in the center tube of the bike. The engine develops a power of 250 W. The bike is equipped a three-speed Shimano Nexus shifter (simple, standard and fast).
There is a screen on the handlebars where you can track your speed, battery level and select the assist mode you want. Xiaomi proposes 4 modes : without electric assistance, Eco mode (50% assistance), Nor mode (100% assistance) and BO+ mode (150% assistance).
Thanks to the Xiaomi Home app, you can track all available information such as distance traveled, battery life and even lock the bike to prevent theft.
