Our courier hopes to curse us again. Because we were finally allowed to try the new gaming chair again and got the Commander gaming chair from our partner Sandberg. After balancing all his strengths, he left with a smile, saying only "performing an interesting test." This person knows us
With the Commander gaming chair, Sandberg has raised the level of gaming chairs to a new level. Here, not only the material value but also the optical value play a major role. Gone are the days when the chair was boring at the desk. This now creates a disco effect in the room and turns the dark room into a Las Vegas-style arcade. A bit exaggerated, but still very close.
First, we start by unpacking the big box. Sandberg carefully packaged the individual components of the chair and protected them from scratches or other vibrations. Now we lie on the floor in sections and then screw or connect everything. The accompanying instructions are self-explanatory and should be easy for every beginner.
When we assembled, we noticed a small disadvantage and we didn't want to let you down. The small screws must be screwed into the existing screw holes. However, these holes are covered by fabric. If you pierce them beforehand, the fabric may end up in the thread and you may not be able to fix the screws directly. This is a bit annoying and can be solved better. The screw holes may be left blank and should not be covered with fabric. If the screws are tightened excessively, the screw threads may break and the screws cannot be tightened.
It is also important before assembly. The plugs used to illuminate the backrest and seat must be plugged together. Question: In the operating instructions, this step is only at the end. You should prefer this step to make the cable long enough. If assembled, the cable length may be too short.
In terms of quality, Sandberg brings outstanding materials to the Commander gaming chair, and also achieves high quality in terms of other components. Except for the screw history mentioned above, everything is well thought out. After about 20 minutes, the chair is assembled and we can conduct a seat test. It stands out: The chair is comfortable and our backs and necks are supported smoothly. The back and neck ensure this. Good ergonomics fit your body, we don't want to get up.
But the focus is still missing. The Sandberg Commander gaming chair also provides LED lighting for the back and seats. The setting of the lamp is adjusted via the supplied remote control. In our short video, you can see what options you have. Provide the necessary power to the LED light bar via a mobile power supply (not included). A small compartment under the seat ensures that this power bank can be stowed.
The chair can also be adjusted in many positions and is available in PU leather. The neck and back cushions can also be adjusted and removed, and can be used as needed. These characters also do the job well, so the Sandberg Commander gaming chair can be easily moved around the table. The seat is suitable for people weighing up to 150 kg and can be purchased from Sandberg, starting at about 230 Euros. The chair itself weighs 21 kg.
