Scrubs is reportedly set to make a comeback with its original creator, although I'm not convinced it will go smoothly.

Comeback, convinced, creator, I39m, original, reportedly, Scrubs, Set, smoothly

I hope you enjoy medical dramas because this sounds like a new take Scrub is coming from its original creator.

It's not talked about much these days, mostly because it's been off the air for over a decade, but once upon a time, Anatomy was one of the biggest sitcoms in the world, winning a lot of critical acclaim and being in the spotlight. Ranked among eight films. (and a mediocre) season all-in. Looking back, there is indeed a lot of intention, but some parts are definitely outdated. Still, it seems creator Bill Lawrence wants to give it another go, with Variety reporting that showrunners are working on a new version of the show at 20th Television.

Details about the reboot appear to be sparse at this time. Lawrence has an overall deal with Warner Bros. Television, but that apparently makes room for him to work on a new version of the show with his former studio partners. A source with knowledge of the situation told Variety that if the project does move forward fully, Lawrence will not become a producer on the series. As of now, no other deals have been made and no casting news has been announced.

Again, Anatomy may not be talked about as much now, but it was a very beloved sitcom at the time. If it were something completely new, Lawrence and whoever ends up running it/being cast would have a hard time bringing it back. The original series aired from 2001 to 2010, and in the years since, Lawrence has been busy filming other successful series such as Cougar Town, Ted Russo and most recently Shrink . He certainly knows how to make good television, so I thought, let's see if he can still do it on “The Anatomy.”
