One of the most mysterious projects Capcom is currently developing is Ben Pragmata, a sci-fi action game first announced between 2020 and five years ago! Pragmata was originally scheduled to launch in 2022 two years later, but it keeps disappearing from Capcom's release calendar.
Even if the publisher brings the game back to remind everyone that the game has not been cancelled, it will not provide any new details or provide a reliable release date. The last time we saw it was in the summer of 2023, when Capcom just threw a towel and delayed it indefinitely.
But now, we hope it's the last time that disappeared behavior comes back.

As part of the Sony showcase of the state of performance, we get a new trailer for Pragmata. Titled as First Contact, the trailer provides a mix of gameplay and performs some lighting narratives to reconstruct its two main characters – Hugh and Diana.
We're still not sure how the gameplay works; the video shows some puzzle solving, third-person shooting and some stealth. The goal seems to be that the two protagonists rely on each other to escape the space station.
A new PlayStation blog post confirms that we will be able to control them simultaneously during the game. It seems Diana will conduct a hacker attack and Hugh will take care of the shooting.

Capcom knows it's a bit stupid to keep bringing the game back, just because it's gone away from the face of the Earth over the years. While today’s news is sadly without a solid release date – beyond a simple 2026 goal, the trailer does end with a light note, apologizing for the delay, suggesting that the original release date for 2022 was removed and replaced the new 2026 date, and highlighting the “reality” this time.
