Session: Skate Sim has been out since September of last year – and now new content is on the way. The developers also announced a switch version, which should be available soon.
Since the release of Session: Skate Sim last autumn, NACON and crea-ture Studio have by no means been lazy, but now want to deliver fresh content for the skateboard game in a timely manner. As has now been confirmed, several patches, additional content and a switch version are in the works. The latter can be pre-ordered now.
According to the creators, the optimizations should primarily focus on the early phases of the game. This is intended to provide players with a smoother learning curve and an improved tutorial, ultimately making the gameplay easier to master.
All buyers of the upcoming switch version, which will also offer customized controls, should also benefit directly from these innovations. Above all, a lot of work has been put into the triggers for the rotations in order to be able to offer an optimal skateboarding experience on the Nintendo console as well. You can get started on the switch from March 16, 2023.
The fresh game content is initially planned for the existing game versions. Among other things, you can look forward to a new professional skater, a new map, new missions and new equipment. As a result, the title should offer more variety in the future. Further details will follow in the coming weeks.
Session: Skate Sim is currently available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. The Switch variant will follow on March 16, 2023. All those who pre-order the Switch version of the game now will receive a free Brand Pack containing exclusive deck and clothing designs.
