This is how you get the healthid at the AOK
In order to get the healthide from one of the eleven AOK health insurance companies, you need the AOK IDENT app. It is available free of charge for Android and iOS. To use the app, you need a smartphone on which at least Android 9.0 or iOS 15.0 is installed and which has an NFC function.
You also need a screen lock. After installing the app, you can set up your healthide directly and have to confirm an email address in the first step and award a healthid code.

The first step is then taken. In the second step you have to confirm your identity with an identification method. This can be done with the online ID or the electronic health card as well as the associated PIN, or with a postident.
Once you have done this, you can still select whether biometry (fingerprint, face recognition) should be used to release registrations. Then you can use the healthid directly to register my life at the AOK AOK.
