Riot Games has announced a tactical first-person shooter for 2020. So far this is only known as Project A – now the indications are increasing that the final title "Valorant" will read.
Officially there is no new information, but a few days ago Riot applied for the trademark rights for "Valorant". There are also new accounts with this name on Twitter and YouTube.
Particularly interesting: A date is probably teasered on the Twitter account. Pay attention to 02 in the upper left corner. The profile picture is also chosen so that the number is visible on it. Maybe a reference to the March 2, 2020?
The number 34 is a bit more hidden – under one of the squares, in the middle right. For the time being, what this could be about remains pure speculation. In any case, it is obvious to expect new information about Project A soon – after all, the shooter should still appear in 2020
Project A is Riots shooter hope
The LoL developer has high hopes for the shooter. Apparently, these are not entirely unjustified: A former counter strike professional has already been able to play Project A and describes it as "the best game since CS: GO". It is like a mixture of Counter Strike and Overwatch. He had previously played a bomb defusing mode and was particularly enthusiastic about weapon handling.
In theory, Valorant could also be a game other than Project A that Riot wants to bring out – however, the number of domains saved speaks against a small title. In addition, the developer is likely to be well utilized with the already confirmed projects: Riot has planned this for the future.
