Sid Meier's Civilization VII was not quite as well received as hoped for 2K and there is a need for improvement. Another patch has now been published to improve the game.
With the user reviews of SID Meier's Civilization VII, 2K and Firaxis cannot be satisfied. Only around 50 percent of the players currently rate the game on Steam as positive, with the user interface in particular causing annoyance. Today Firaxis has released a new patch with Update 1.1.0 and updated the Roadmap at the same time, including a specific date for the next update 1.1.1.
The most important innovations at a glance:
- New natural miracle for discovering: Bermuda triangle (free of charge for all players: inside)
- Further improvements to the UI, additional fine -tuned and remedy reported problems
- Serious changes to the cultural heritage path and victory of the modernity: AI leaders are now better in winning a cultural victory-less stacking of discoverer units!
- Saint cities can now be converted in the age of exploration. Own missionary units always follow the selected religion of the player: inside
- Marine units can now dissolve independent coastal powers
- Balance revision of several memorabilia (mementos)
- Optimizations of the unpacking campaign for armies
- Removal of reported problems in the multiplayer and improvements when adding friends via a 2K account
- For console players: All previous updates from Patch 1.0.1 (patch 1, 2 and 3) are implemented, in addition to the above changes
The next update should follow on March 25th. Among other things, further UI improvements, as well as revisions of the AI, Quick-Move functionality, should include a new natural miracle (free) and further optimizations. The second half of the paid extension CrossRoads of the World should also be included (the first half are already available in today's update).
For April, another update is then planned to version 1.2.0, which is also supposed to improve the UI and other aspects and also wants to continue working on the game to get it up to the booth that fans expect. We will wait and see whether this works.
